Come celebrate the lives of Sam and Mike, see old friends, bid on auction items, eat good food and simply have a relaxing day after Thanksgiving. It really is the time of year to be grateful, to spend time with your family and friends, and we are truly touched by your support. Come kick up your heels and finally relax with your old friends and enjoy a good time, while supporting the students in our community.

#3: How does my company or foundation become a partner of the WG 14 Foundation?

The mission of the foundation is simple: provide two graduating seniors from West Genesee High School, who demonstrate commitment to teamwork and helping the underdog, a scholarship to a higher ed institution. To honor their memory and keep their spirits alive, we thought there was no better way than to give back and help young adults in starting the next phase of their lives – which is exactly what these two stood for – helping others!

As simple as it may seem, the impact that your support will have on young people’s lives, will be everlasting. We would truly appreciate any funding you can offer in helping us raise money to help West Genesee graduates receive scholarships for years to come.

#4: I work for a company that offers matching gifts. How do I get the information that I need to apply for the matching gift to ensure it reaches the WG 14 Foundation?

The WG 14 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Our Federal Tax ID number is 87-2795442, and our official name is WG 1998 Scholarship Foundation (dba WG 14 Foundation).

#5: We are truly grateful for any donated auction items for the gathering at The Wildcat on Friday, Nov. 24!

Last year, we were blown away by the people who called from far and wide to donate everything from lacrosse helmets, to Nascar tickets, to a weekend at a winery, to golfing experiences, to signed sports memorabilia, and the list goes on and on. We even had a Secret Santa that matched dollar for dollar each and every donation that came in through the end of 2022.

There are not enough thank-yous that we can say to everyone that put their hearts and souls into putting together items for us to auction off. We welcome all donations!!! We know they all came from your hearts, and we couldn’t be more humbled.
